Without a good attitude, this journey can be very difficult. In fact, most 50-year-olds will notice that they are becoming hollowed out at times. They truth is, they have become dull, lazy and unimportant. Before you 50, you will find it difficult to understand that life has changed significantly. Even the best 50-year-old can be destroyed by the hollow shell of a dead culture.

You will find that your body is aging, but you will not know it until it is too late. The first sign of danger is often around 45, and it is up to you to figure out that you have a problem or to take the right course of action.

Your BMR, or basal metabolic Rate will be closely watch with your changing age. Essentially, it is a measure of the rate that you burn calories, and it is affected by several factors including, your age, weight, muscle mass, and muscle break down.

All this talk about diet has us all thinking, so here is the bottom line. Exercise is great and we should get as much of it as we can, but if you want to look and feel great, you will use the right cardio and nutrition program for the rest of your life. Forget the sodium reductionist diet that does nothing but lower your sodium and calorie intake and sends you to the gym. Forget all of that, if you want to be fit forever, learn to fuel your body with the right nutrients and cardio intervals, then you should exercise.

5. Fitness Program

This is where most of us get it wrong. We try to work our butts in at the gym, or maybe we get some kind of classes, and we think we are doing the right thing. The fact is that with drastic weather changes and the easy availability of poor quality information, it is really steps like these that most likely will not carry the same amount of weight with you as they would have in the beginning. The fact is that many of us have put years and years of their lives into walking, and we now know the limits of the activity.
